Buckhorn Loop (Captain Jack's Frontside) features a 5 mile loop trail near Colorado Springs. The trail winds through deep forests and also provides stunning views of the mountains nearby. <br />
This trail is mainly used as a mountain bike trail so please practice caution.
From Colorado Springs go west and get on Cheyenne Canyon Rd. Follow this up through the canyon past Helen Hunt Falls to the large dirt parking lot (This is High Drive parking lot). The trail begins on the dirt road at the back corner of the parking lot at the gate that restricts cars from access.
